About the Role

As a Service Delivery Centre Trainer, you’ll be the go‑to expert for training delivery, resource development, coaching, and quality monitoring across the SDC. You’ll work closely with leadership, subject matter experts and frontline teams to ensure our training is current, compliant and genuinely useful.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate and deliver learning programs including new starter onboarding, refresher training and upskilling
• Provide day‑to‑day coaching, support and development for SDC staff
• Build strong relationships across AASS teams to support learning and capability uplift
• Collaborate with leadership to monitor performance, identify learning gaps and implement targeted training solutions
• Maintain, update and create training resources, guides, process documentation and e‑learning content
• Develop practical, role‑specific training by consulting with subject matter experts and analysing operational needs
• Use a mix of learning methods — coaching, job‑shadowing, workshops, online modules
• Conduct monitoring, quality checks and post‑training audits to confirm training effectiveness
• Recommend improvements to processes, resources and practices based on training outcomes
• Support continuous improvement across SDC operations
• Ensure staff understand compliance requirements and contractual obligations
• Deliver initial and ongoing developmental training for BUSY At Work SDC personnel
• Respond to changes in government policy and ensure training reflects current guidelines
• Report on staff progress, training outcomes and capability development
• Manage your workload effectively to meet KPIs and deadlines
• Uphold BUSY’s commitment to child safety and organisational values

This is a fixed term position until April 2027, based in our Southport or Brisbane office.

About You

If you love developing people, creating practical training resources, and driving continuous improvement, this role puts you at the centre of shaping how our teams learn, grow and deliver exceptional service.

• Strong knowledge of Australian Apprenticeships or the VET sector
• Ability to interpret complex guidelines, policy and contractual requirements
• Experience developing training resources, guides or learning materials
• Confident delivery of training, coaching and capability‑building activities
• Ability to conduct monitoring, quality checks or audits to assess training effectiveness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
• A positive, proactive approach to change and continuous improvement
• Customer‑focused mindset and enthusiasm for supporting a high‑performing service team
• Self‑motivation, initiative and a passion for helping others succeed
