About the Company Are you a Senior Site Manager with a passion for engineering excellence? We are working on an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our client's team in Sydney. Our client is an Australian-owned company specialising in full-service design, project management and construction, delivering complex projects within some of Australia’s largest healthcare environments. Their primary focus is on quality and safety by engineering innovative infrastructure systems.
The Role As the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and finalisation of construction fit outs, within healthcare environments, in accordance with the construction program. You will act as the primary on-site lead, managing all subcontractors and employees while working closely with the Project Manager to ensure a quality, defect-free project delivery.
Key Responsibilities -
Subcontractor Management: Supervise all on-site trades, ensuring contract compliance, correct site hours, and adherence to site documents and drawings.

OH&S Excellence: Take full responsibility for the health and safety of all site personnel, including the management of safety systems and filing of all required OH&S documentation.

Quality Assurance: Manage all site QA requirements and maintain monthly as-built drawing mark-ups.

Stakeholder Engagement: Attend weekly site meetings with clients and lead weekly coordination meetings with site contractors.

Financial Support: Assist the Project Manager with monthly claims and identify any site variations for reporting.

Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop project team members under your direct supervision.
What You Bring - A minimum of 8 years’ experience in site management or construction management within a live environment, such as healthcare, education or commercial building fit outs.

Qualifications: Trade or degree qualified in a relevant engineering or construction field.

Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.

Compliance: A deep understanding of building health and safety regulations.

Soft Skills: Confidence dealing with a range of stakeholders and an ability to drive teams to meet tight deadlines.
