We're known for our quality workmanship and technical expertise with 2 facilities in Melbourne and Sydney and we're looking for a sales representative who can represent that reputation out in the field.
The RoleWe're looking for an experienced automotive sales representative to grow our footprint across the entire automotive trade. This is a relationship building role. You'll be the face of FluidDrive to transmission workshops, dealerships and automotive businesses, introducing them to what we offer and building the kind of trust that turns a first conversation into an ongoing account.
What You'll Be DoingIdentify and approach potential automotive clients including transmission workshops, dealerships and mechanic shopsBuild and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients and industry contactsRepresent FluidDrive professionally at client meetings, site visits and industry eventsClearly communicate our services, capabilities and points of difference to prospective clientsManage a pipeline of leads and follow up consistently to convert interest into businessReport regularly on client visits, pipeline progress and market feedbackWork closely with the FluidDrive team to make sure client expectations are understood and metStay across industry trends and competitor activity in the transmission and automotive service spaceRepresent the brand with consistency and professionalism at all times
What We're Looking ForProven experience in automotive sales or a similar client facing automotive roleStrong communication and relationship building skillsA professional, presentable manner suited to representing a specialist brandSelf motivated and comfortable working independently in the fieldConfident approaching new businesses and building relationships from scratchReliable, organised and able to manage a client pipeline without close supervisionA current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleKnowledge of the automotive industry, ideally with an understanding of transmissions, is highly regarded
