About the role
Powersports Technician wanted.
Are you passionate about powersports and an expert in all things mechanical, We're looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Mechanic to join our team at Seadoo/Can Am.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all models of Sea-Doo PWC and Can Am on road and off-road vehicles.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and service new and used units.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Communicate effectively with customers about their service needs and repair status.
Promote a safe and healthy working environment whilst fostering a fun and capable workshop.
Qualifications:
A light/heavy vehicle, motorcycle, marine or auto electrical mechanical trade is required.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a mechanic in automotive, marine, motorcycle, or heavy vehicle repair
Proven experience as a personal watercraft technician or motorcycle mechanic specifically with Sea-Doo/Can Am is highly advantageous.
Strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
A valid driver's license is required and a forklift ticket is an advantage.
Benefits:
Competitive salary $90k - $105k $45-$53 p/h (depending on experience and capabilities), Workshop Bonus Scheme (dependent on performance), a strong work life balance supported by demonstrator staff usage policy, staff ride days, ongoing training and BRP Technician Certification which is recognised globally. You would be joining a workshop team that has the highest of standards and professionalism.
