Role Overview

• Position Type: Full Time Permanent
• Start Date: Term 3, 2026 (July)
• Location: Melbourne's West Suburbs
• Year Level: Year 6
• Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 students aligned to the Victorian Curriculum
• Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic achievement and wellbeing of all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback to students and families
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families and the broader school community
• Collaborate with primary colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
• Contribute to the broader school community through co-curricular engagement and transition programs supporting students moving into Year 7

About You
You're a qualified teacher who:

• Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
• Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
• Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
• Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
• Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
