About the role
About the role
As an Electrical Estimator at Innovent Engineering Group Pty Ltd, you will prepare accurate and competitive estimates for on-site and off-site electrical projects. Based in Forrestdale, WA, you will analyse requirements, develop labour and material pricing, obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations, and support tenders.
Key responsibilities
Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
Prepare estimates for labour, materials, equipment and overheads.
Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes and incorporate accurate pricing.
Ensure estimates align with scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.
Price switchboards using OEM software packages, with training provided if required.
Analyse on-site and off-site electrical scope of work.
Apply switchboard design and electrical systems knowledge to estimates.
Identify technical challenges and practical, cost-effective solutions.
Maintain estimating records, assumptions, methodologies and pricing sources.
Attend tender and project handover meetings; provide technical clarification.
About you
Electrical background with practical experience; electrician trade qualification preferred.
Minimum 4-6 years' electrical estimating, pricing or related technical experience.
Strong switchboard design and three-phase electrical systems knowledge.
Experience with on-site and off-site electrical scope of work.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and spreadsheet modelling.
Strong mathematical, analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
