About the role
About us
At Transdev, we don't just move people—we empower communities. As a global leader in mobility solutions, we deliver safe, innovative, and sustainable transport services across Australasia.
From buses and ferries to trains and light rail, our teams help millions of people connect with the places that matter most. With more than 100,000 employees globally, we are united by a shared purpose: serving the common good through mobility, innovation, and customer-focused service.
As technology becomes increasingly critical to transport operations, cybersecurity and resilience have never been more important. This is your opportunity to help shape and protect the future of transport.
Your impact
As the Head of IT Resilience & Cybersecurity, you will be Transdev ANZ's most senior cybersecurity leader, responsible for defining and driving the organisation's cybersecurity, resilience, and technology risk strategy. You'll act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, helping the business understand and manage risk while embedding cybersecurity into organisational planning and decision-making.
Working closely with the General Manager, IT, local leadership teams, and Transdev's global cybersecurity organisation, you will influence strategic investment, strengthen resilience, and ensure cybersecurity supports operational performance, passenger safety, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and organisational reputation.
This role will suit a pragmatic leader who is excited by the challenge of building maturity. You'll inherit an environment with significant opportunities for improvement across cybersecurity, resilience, governance and operational maturity. Success will require a leader who can balance long-term strategic vision with a continuous improvement approach, bringing people on the journey while making meaningful progress with finite resources.
