About us

Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

Our Construction team supports the growth of our business by focusing on internal and external civil works, plant operation and property maintenance. 

We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operators to join our Construction Team based in at Fraser Park near Catherine Hill Bay.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Have experience operating multiple earthmoving machines and the relevant tickets (if applicable) with a minimum 3 years experience (Excavator 1-30 tons, Dozer, Compactor, Backhoe, Front end loader and Bobcat)

• Have experience in all aspects of Civil works

• Have laser levelling experience with the ability to set up and use dumpy levels and set pipe lasers

• Have experience in rock hammering, excavation, trenching, piering, bulk excavation and levelling

• Have GPS final trim experience (an advantage)

• Possess the ability to work both in a team environment and independently, with high attention to detail

• Have a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)

• Have a current driving licence and own transport

• Have a HC (Unrestricted) Licence (an advantage)

• Be physically fit to undertake manual tasks

To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.

Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
