Why This Role Matters

Our Production Technicians are at the heart of our manufacturing operations.

As a Casual Production Technician, you’ll help turn carefully controlled processes into consistent, high-quality products by preparing production areas, operating equipment, completing hands-on production activities and checking that everything meets the required standard.

Our Manufacturing operations run seven days a week, so you’ll need to be available to work across weekdays and weekends as rostered.

It’s practical, hands-on work where safety, quality and attention to detail matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll:

• Complete hands-on production, processing and finishing activities.
• Prepare, operate and monitor production equipment.
• Handle and process animal-derived biological materials and animal by-products as part of normal production activities.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
• Accurately complete production records and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
• Identify and report production, equipment or quality issues.
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve production requirements.
• Contribute ideas that make our processes safer, simpler or more effective.

You’ll become someone the team can rely on to do things safely, accurately and consistently.

You’ll understand why procedures matter, maintain your attention to detail even when completing routine or repetitive tasks, and speak up when something doesn’t look right.

As your capability develops, you’ll have opportunities to support new team members, contribute to continuous improvement and potentially step into acting 2IC responsibilities when required.

• Availability to work across weekdays and weekends as rostered. Weekend availability is an essential requirement of this casual role.

Previous manufacturing or production experience would be useful, but it isn’t essential. Experience from another hands-on or process-driven environment may be just as valuable.
