Print Production and Contract Management

Communications Division provides innovative, best practice strategic communication advice and support, enabling effective reach to the right people, using the right channel, at the right time.

The Business Support Section manages the division’s business assurance and strategic procurement operations, a whole of government cooperative procurement program for communication products and services, and the agency’s printing and production functions.

• Lead the agency’s print production, warehousing and distribution functions to deliver reliable, high-quality and value-for-money services.
• Oversee the day-to-day contract management of the agency’s print management, printing, and warehousing & distribution contracts, including supplier performance, service delivery, risks, issues and contract obligations.
• Provide leadership and direction on print production strategy, priorities, workflows, supplier performance and operational risks.
• Guide production decisions, resolve complex issues and support fit-for-purpose outcomes for business areas.  
• Lead engagement with suppliers, stakeholders and business areas to ensure print requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Drive improvements to production processes, service delivery, quality controls and customer experience.
• Lead, coach and develop staff, building capability and supporting the transfer of specialist print production knowledge.
• Manage competing priorities and make sound operational decisions in a complex print and contract management environment.

Essential Requirements: 

Security Clearance level required: Baseline (or ability to obtain and maintain)

Desirable Qualifications / Industry experience for these roles: 

• Print Industry experience would be an advantage.
• Qualifications and/or experience in contract management in a printing environment would be an advantage.
