We are now seeking an experienced and commercially focused Cluster Finance & Business Support Manager to provide financial leadership across two hotels in Perth: Holiday Inn Perth City Centre and Holiday Inn West Perth which are owned by Worldwide Hotels Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional to oversee the financial operations, reporting, compliance and commercial performance of two operating hotels.

As Cluster Finance & Business Support Manager, you will provide strategic financial leadership to both properties, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting and informed business decision-making. You will work closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to identify opportunities for growth, maximise profitability and support long-term business success.

This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic business partnering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys influencing operational performance while maintaining exceptional financial governance.

What You Will Do

• Lead the finance function across both hotel properties.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and commercial support to both General Manager and Executive Leadership Team.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and long-term business plans.
• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Present monthly financial results, forecasts and key business insights to ownership representatives and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies, internal control procedures and statutory obligations.
• Oversee month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting requirements.
• Partner with department leaders to manage expenses, labour costs and departmental performance.
• Manage payroll oversight, workforce optimisation reporting and financial risk management.
• Lead relationships with the Business Support Centre (BSC), auditors, banking partners and external stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable and working capital to support business performance.
• Support capital expenditure planning, investment analysis and asset management initiatives.
• Champion compliance, governance and financial best practices across both hotels.
• Lead, develop and support the finance team to achieve both individual and business objectives.

• Proven experience in a Manager of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance, Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
• Hotel industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through commercial insights and business partnering.
• Experience managing financial controls, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Advanced financial systems and Excel capabilities.
