An exciting opportunity to join our growing Allied Health, Sports & Remedial Clinic team.
Located in Avondale Heights, Pain Stoppers is one of Melbourne’s leading Allied Health clinics in the North‑West, supported by a loyal community of patients and a dedicated team committed to improving health and wellbeing through a holistic approach to care.
We are seeking enthusiastic Remedial Massage Therapists / Myotherapists / Osteopath who are passionate about helping and empowering individuals to live pain‑free, healthier lives.
Key responsibilities
Perform a range of manual therapy techniques, including Soft and Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger‑Point Therapy, Joint Mobilisation, Cupping Therapy, and Dry Needling.
Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments to identify dysfunction, pain patterns, and movement restrictions.
Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, postural imbalances, and sports‑related injuries.
Educate clients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and effective self‑care strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including assessments, treatment notes, and progress updates.
Collaborate with other allied health professionals to support a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Deliver each treatment with professionalism, compassion, and a strong patient‑centred focus.
Uphold high standards of hygiene, infection control, and workplace safety at all times.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, team members, and referring practitioners.
Stay current with industry developments, continuing education, and emerging therapeutic techniques.
About you
Diploma of Remedial Massage / Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy / Bachelor Degree of Myotherapy / Bachelor Degree Applied Science of Osteopathy
Membership with Massage Association Australia (MAA) or Massage & Myotherapy Australia (MMA), or APHRA & Osteopathy Australia, or other association equivalent
Current First Aid certification
Current WWC
Current Police Check
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
