Melville Subaru – Full-Time Position

Melville Subaru is seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy Service Department.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional, high-performing dealership that takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of Subaru vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

You will work within a clean, modern workshop alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults

• Perform vehicle inspections and accurately report any additional work required

• Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Subaru Australia procedures

• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical information

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

• Maintain accurate job-card and repair-order documentation

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

About You

The successful applicant will have:

• A recognised Australian automotive trade qualification

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician

• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in their workmanship

• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• A reliable, positive and professional attitude

• A current WA manual driver’s licence

Subaru or dealership experience would be highly regarded; however, it is not essential, as manufacturer training will be provided.
