**Cancer Council WA** provides two residential accommodation lodges in Perth—**Milroy Lodge** in **Shenton Park** and **Crawford Lodge** in **Nedlands,** offering self-contained accommodation for regional cancer patients and their carers while they undergo treatment in the metropolitan area.
We are seeking a **Gardener** to assist with gardening duties at Milroy Lodge and Crawford Lodge.
**The Role**
* General maintenance and upkeep of gardens and grounds.
* Watering, planting, weeding and pruning of gardens.
* Attend a volunteer induction and any role-related training.
* Participate in an annual reflection and team meetings.
**Requirements**
* Follow CCWA SunSmart Recommendations to protect from solar UV radiation (cover up, use sunscreen, wear a hat and sunglasses and seek shade where possible).
* Be mindful of the distress of a cancer diagnosis and use a sensitive approach.
* Understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA.
* Respect for diversity.
* Positive attitude to the workplace.
* Reliable and trustworthy.
