About the role
Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support Friday Coffee Meetup and Innovate Pasadena by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to events, attendees, and community engagement. Day-to-day tasks include documenting business requirements, mapping and refining business processes, and preparing reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and program improvements. The role also involves collaborating with organizers to identify trends, measure the impact of presentations and networking activities, and recommend enhancements to participant experience. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The successful candidate will work closely with mentors and stakeholders to learn best practices in business analysis while contributing to the growth of the innovation community.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Business Analysis capabilities.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging stakeholders and presenting insights.Candidates should possess understanding of Business Process mapping and improvement.Candidates should possess the ability to gather, document, and manage Business Requirements.Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, data visualization, or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or similar) is beneficial.Relevant coursework or a degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time well, and adapt to a dynamic, community-focused setting.Interest in innovation, startups, or technology ecosystems and willingness to learn from experienced community leaders.
