Reach Truck Operator

With our Head Office and main manufacturing site based in Windsor Gardens, this is a rare opportunity to join our Distribution Team as a Full Time Reach Truck Operator and secure a stable position with a steady workload within the food industry.

About the Role:

Operating Standing Crown & Linde Reach Trucks, our warehousing staff enjoy regular rostered full-time hours and opportunities to work overtime.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurately preparing, picking and loading goods as required;

• Safe and efficient operation of our Crown & Linde Standing Reach Truck, including general care and maintenance;

• Ensuring quarantine area management through sorting, tidying and good housekeeping;

• Completing records in relation to warehouse tasks as required.

• Putting away much-loved San Remo products into the warehouse;

San Remo conducts 5 and a half-day x 24-hour operations, so you must be willing to perform shift work on a weekly rotation (Overtime may be available).

We are currently looking to fill positions on the roster below.

Week 1

07:50 am – 03:50 pm

Week 2

03:50 pm – 12:00 am (15% extra loading)

Week 3

11:50 pm – 08:00 am (20% extra loading)

About you: 

• Recent experience operating a Reach Truck, a Crown or Linde Truck is preferred but is not essential, in a large warehouse environment;

• Great work ethic and sense of teamwork;

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, preferably within the FMCG industry;

• A current High Risk Work License with an LF accreditation;

• Solid knowledge of warehouse documentation

• Experience with high-level order picking (desirable)

• Must be willing to work a rotational shift roster of either days and afternoons, or days, afternoons and nights combined.
