The RoleThis role is responsible for ensuring our liquid customers have reliable and uninterrupted supply by developing and managing daily and weekly delivery schedules.You will work closely with our 3PL partners, internal stakeholders, and customers to coordinate bulk deliveries and optimise logistics operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesBulk Scheduling & Customer ServiceDevelop and manage daily and weekly delivery schedules to meet customer requirementsCommunicate proactively with customers regarding delivery timelines and expectationsEnsure all delivery documentation is completed accuratelyMaintain accurate scheduling data and related systemsAct as the key point of contact for customer queriesWork closely with 3PL providers to ensure delivery plans are executed efficientlyReview and adjust bulk and linehaul schedules as requiredMonitor and improve supply chain KPIs, including service performance and costsSupport weekly planning and forecast volumesPromote and maintain a strong safety-first culture
Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement improvements to scheduling processes and systemsParticipate in projects to enhance customer service and operational efficiencyDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
About YouProven experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain schedulingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience working with 3PL providers and freight operationsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable:Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similarKnowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with ERP systems
