Resort Front Office Reception/Guest Services - Casual

Mariner Shores Resort is looking for a friendly, organised and professional Front Office Reception / Guest Services team member to join our small and supportive team.

This is a varied role combining front office reception, guest services and timeshare administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while also having a strong eye for detail and administration.

You’ll be one of the welcoming faces of our resort, helping our guests and members enjoy a smooth and enjoyable experience from arrival through to departure, while also supporting the administration of our membership operations.

What you'll do:

• Welcome and assist guests and members with warmth, professionalism and a genuine commitment to excellent service.

• Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, phone enquiries and general guest requests.

• Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts and complete daily reception administration.

• Assist members with timeshare enquiries, bookings and account administration.

• Maintain accurate member records and assist with correspondence, documentation and general membership administration.

• Respond to guest and member enquiries professionally and confidently in person, by phone and via email.

• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure apartments, facilities and common areas are ready for guests.

• Assist with resolving guest and member concerns in a calm, professional and solutions-focused manner.

• Work collaboratively with a small team to maintain a consistently high standard of guest service and smooth day-to-day resort operations.

• Contribute to a welcoming and positive atmosphere for both guests and fellow team members.

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in hotel, resort, front office, guest services or customer services.

• Experience within timeshare is highly regarded, but not essential.

• A friendly, professional and approachable manner.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong administration and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

• Confidence using computers, email and reservation or property management systems.

• The ability to learn new systems, processes and procedures quickly.

• A willingness to learn the timeshare industry, membership structures and entitlement processes.

• The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations or competing priorities.

• The ability to work independently while also being a supportive, reliable and collaborative team member.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.

The role:

• Casual position – varied hours approx. 15 hours, depending on business requirements.

• Additional hours may be available from time to time depending on occupancy and operational requirements.

• Paid under the current Hospitality Award, including applicable casual loading and penalty rates.
