Title: Cinema Duty Manager (Cinema Employee Level 5)

Position Overview:

Become a part of the Event Cinemas Cairns team at our three locations - Cairns Central, Earlville and Smithfield.

About the role

• Oversee daily operations, uphold operational standards, and pursue best practice
• Contribute to cultivating a motivated team culture with emphasis on engagement, performance development and retaining top talent
• Track and achieve budgeted sales and other key performance indicators while managing expenses
• Actively work across all aspects of the business as part of the wider team (Candybar, Floor Ushering & Duty Management)
• Proactively grow and maintain strong networks with all stakeholders including customers, team members, contractors, landlords & the broader EVT network

Experience and skills required

• Experience in hospitality or a customer facing role 
• Experience in leadership or supervisory position
• Event management and/or food and beverage experience is advantageous
• CPR & First Aid certificate is preferred
• RSA certification required (RMLV certification is a plus)
• Ability to work across our three locations in Cairns (Central, Earlville & Smithfield)
• Flexibility with ability to work a mix of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
