Support Worker - Mental Health and Disabilities!

Availability for Weekend & Sleepover shifts desired but not essential

Location: Graceville Centre at Nambour QLD

Remuneration: $46.18 - $50.38 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits

About The Role

Located in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, our Graceville Centre provides support to individuals living with a mental illness and/or disability. All Graceville services are conducted by working with individuals in a strength based and recovery focused framework. Graceville Centre operates seven programs that provide support to clients either on site or in their own homes. We are a growing service and regularly have internal opportunities for career growth.

As a Support Worker you will work across multiple programs with individuals helping them to increase their independence, maintain their wellness and ultimately improve the quality of their life.

Responsibilities Will Include

Provide flexible, support tailored to client needs and preferences.Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and independence.Encourage community participation and social engagement for individuals.Support skill development and independence-building activities.Work collaboratively with case managers and other stakeholders.Maintain accurate documentation of client care and interactions.

What You Bring To The Team

Transferrable skills and/or study in a related field (students are encouraged to apply)A strong passion for empowering individuals with a mental illness and/or disabilities.Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence & a comprehensively insured vehicle that you can use to transport clients (if required).A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card.
