About the Job

Opportunities have become available for multiple qualified Auto Electricians to join our team. The position will be based in Rocklea, with travel in Brisbane, the Lockyer Valley and surrounding areas.

You will be provided with a work Ute, uniforms, all necessary tools and the workshop will supply all engine management tooling and advanced air conditioning equipment to assist you with repairs. 

As a Heavy Vehicle Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on trucks, trailers, and heavy vehicles

• Testing, repairing, and replacing wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starter motors, and charging systems

• Installing and servicing lighting systems, beacons, camera systems, reverse alarms, and truck accessories

• Diagnosing CAN Bus and electronic control system faults

• Installing and maintaining GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management systems

• Conducting preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

• Completing service reports and documentation accurately

• Travelling to customer depots, workshops, and job sites throughout Brisbane and surrounding regions

• Maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering professional service

The applicant we are looking for:

• Qualified as an Auto Electrician or 4th Year Apprentices

• Current Drivers License 

• Must have previous experience 

• Clear communication skills

• The ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment

• An honest and reliable work ethic, with good attention to detail

Depending on experience, the pay rate will vary from $55/hr to $60/hr with a work ute and uniforms. Options to be discussed upon candidate selection
