About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly team on a part-time basis to cover approximately 6 weeks of leave, with the potential for the position to be extended.

Position details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Employment: Part-time

• Days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

• Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

• Potential: Opportunity to extend beyond the initial leave-cover period

• Location: Alexander Heights Family Practice

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with our GPs and practice team to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Patient assessments and clinical care

• Immunisations and vaccinations

• Chronic disease management

• Health assessments and care plans

• Wound care

• Assisting GPs with procedures

• Health promotion and patient education

• Patient recalls and follow-up

• Maintaining accurate clinical records

• General treatment room duties

About You

We are looking for an RN who is:

• Registered with AHPRA

• Experienced in general practice nursing (preferred)

• Confident working independently and as part of a team

• Professional, friendly and compassionate

• Well organised, reliable and adaptable

• Committed to providing high-quality patient-centred care

• Able to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
