Others come alive with preschoolers – their conversations, creativity, growing capabilities and excitement about the world.

At Making A Difference at Beacon Hill, we’re looking for two Diploma-qualified Educators – one who loves Toddlers and one who loves Preschool.

We’re a warm, family-owned 40-place centre, part of the Beacon Hill community since 2006.

Our approach is Reggio Emilia-inspired and play-based, with well-resourced rooms and real outdoor spaces with real trees and gardens.

Love Toddlers?

Help our toddlers navigate one of the biggest periods of growth and change in childhood.

You’ll:

• Create inviting sensory and play-based environments

• Support important transitions, routines and changes

• Build independence, confidence and emerging language

• Help children navigate big emotions and relationships

• Follow children’s interests and turn them into meaningful learning

• Build strong, trusting relationships with families

• Mentor and support Certificate III educators

We want someone who understands toddlers, embraces their energy and sees the learning in the little moments.

Love Preschool?

Help our 3, 4 & 5 year olds develop the skills, confidence and independence to thrive at school – while still enjoying childhood.

You’ll:

• Create engaging experiences for children across the 3–5 year age range

• Extend learning through projects, play and conversations

• Build early literacy and numeracy naturally through play

• Develop independence, resilience and problem-solving

• Support friendships, communication and emotional confidence

• Recognise the very different needs of 3, 4 and 5 year olds

• Support children and families through the transition to school

• Mentor Certificate III educators

About You

You’ll need:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA-approved equivalent

• Current NSW Working with Children Check WWCC

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis

• A genuine passion for Toddler or Preschool education

• Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning

• Confidence documenting and extending children’s learning

• The ability to mentor Certificate III educators

• Warmth, creativity, reliability – and a sense of fun
