Cardiac Sonographer - Flexible Full-Time / Part-Time / Contractor

Zenith Cardiology is a specialist cardiology practice providing cardiac investigations and cardiology consultations across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, with a strong focus on accessible, high-quality cardiac care.

We are looking for a cardiac sonographer who would like a flexible working arrangement, with the opportunity to work either as a full-time, part-time employee or independent contractor, depending on your preference and availability.

Remuneration will be competitive and negotiated according to experience and the preferred employment arrangement.

About the role

The role will primarily involve performing high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and exercise stress echocardiograms within a specialist cardiology practice. You will work closely with cardiologists and the clinical team in a supportive environment, with regular and predictable work available.

We are happy to consider candidates looking for anything from regular weekly sessions through to a more substantial full-time commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms

• Perform exercise stress echocardiograms

• Work closely with cardiologists and clinical team

• Communicate well with patients and colleagues

• Produce high-quality cardiac studies

About you

• Is qualified and experienced in cardiac sonography

• Holds appropriate Australian accreditation/registration

• Is confident performing transthoracic echocardiography independently

• s confident performing exercise stress echocardiography

• Produces consistently high-quality studies

• Communicates well with patients, cardiologists and other members of the clinical team

• Is reliable, professional and enjoys working in a collaborative environment
