Medical receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Redfern Station Medical Centre in Redfern, NSW.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system

• Handling patient inquiries and concerns in a courteous and efficient way

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and inventory management

• Providing general support to the medical practitioners and nursing staff as required

• Billing patients

• keeping the working environment clean

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• Proficient in using medical or practice management software

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

• Team player and able to fit into a friendly environment
