Storeperson - Night Shift

Harbourside Coldstores is an export registered cold storage and logistics business, servicing a variety of export and domestic customers.

There are opportunities for positive individuals to join our Townsville Warehouse team on Night Shift - duties involve order picking, loading and unloading trucks and general warehousing and housekeeping duties.

Main work hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Afternoon / Night Shift) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbound & Outbound Stock: Assist with loading/unloading other runs and processing the receipt of stock.

• Order Picking: Accurately pick orders for daily deliveries.

• Staging & Load Preparation: Prepare and stage pallets/products for the next day's deliveries (e.g., ensuring early-morning freight is easily accessible and not blocked by later runs).

• Depot Housekeeping: General cleaning, tidying, and emptying bins to maintain safety and hygiene standards.  

Must-Haves:

• Current Forklift Ticket (LF).

• Sound understanding of temperature-controlled storage requirements for various food products.

• Basic Excel and computer literacy.  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Heavy Vehicle licence.

• Experience troubleshooting basic heavy vehicle issues.
