Trainer & Assessor - CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry

Origin Institute is a registered training organisation specialising in building and construction training through innovative learning. We are located in CBD, Clayton and Clyde North. 

The institution is seeking self-motivated carpentry Industry professionals with a passion for passing on the skills & knowledge to aspiring professionals and to deliver and assess the following course for our future Intakes: 

• CPC30220 - Certificate III in Carpentry in Clyde North Campus/CBD Campus

• Working Days Required Per Week (can be weekdays or weekend): 3-4 days Face to Face Delivery

WHO YOU ARE

To be considered for this role, you must hold/be:

• Recent building industry experience (at least 2 years, and current)

• CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

• A valid driver's license

• Profession communication, negotiation and consultation skills

• Self-motivated, confident, and a positive attitude

• Strong relationship-building skills with expertise in the effective management of diverse internal and external stakeholder groups

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

• Sound knowledge of operational requirements in relation to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations

• Experience working with international students (preferred)

You will possess an interest in imparting your industry knowledge to those eager to learn and expand their general building careers. You have a strong customer focus, and the ability to multi-task and be flexible and adaptable in your approach.

You will be an exceptional communicator, who is able to work well both autonomously and in a team environment. The capability to build rapport and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are crucial to the role.
