Plumbing Subcontractors Needed

We are currently looking for experienced plumbing subcontractors and established plumbing teams to work alongside our team on upcoming projects.

We are looking for reliable plumbers who can work efficiently, work from drawings and maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout all stages of the project.

About the Role

Works may include:

• Rough Ins

• High level drainage inclusive of sewer stack work, stormwater stack work & required roll overs & basement works)

• Pressure services including (riser cupboards, basement reticulation)

• Fit off fixtures

You will be expected to:

• Read and work from hydraulic, architectural and relevant coordinated drawings

• Set out fixtures and services correctly from architectural plans, fixture schedules & approved documentation

• Work closely with our site supervisors and project team

• Complete works to the project programme and required quality standard

• Keep work areas clean and maintain good housekeeping

Compliance & Workmanship Requirements

All works are to be completed in accordance with the current applicable requirements, including:

• NCC Volume Three – Plumbing Code of Australia

• AS/NZS 3500.1 – Water Services

• AS/NZS 3500.2 – Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage

• AS/NZS 3500.3 – Stormwater Drainage, where applicable

• AS/NZS 3500.4 – Heated Water Services

• AS/NZS 5601.1 – Gas Installations, where gas works are undertaken

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• Current NSW plumbing licence

• Current gasfitting licence/category where undertaking gas works

• Current White Card

• Experience on large developments or similar large-scale projects

• ABN

• Appropriate public liability insurance

• Workers compensation insurance where applicable

• Own tools and access equipment including suitable ladders

• Reliable transport

• Ability to read hydraulic and architectural plans

• Good understanding of the AS/NZS 3500 series and general plumbing compliance requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

• Ability to work independently while also working as part of a larger team

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

• Ability to meet project programmes and allocated deadlines

• Appropriate SWMS and compliance with all project WHS requirements

We are particularly interested in established subcontractor teams who are experienced in completing full levels or nominated areas including rough-in, testing, fit-off and completion.
