Employment: Full-time, Part-time & Casual positions available
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Catering Managers and Kitchen Hands to join our aged-care catering team.
We are a long-established provider of both retirement living and residential aged care, and a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering excellence and enhancing quality of life for those who live in our facility.
Our facility caters for up to 50 residents across two wings: ‘Karinya’ and our purpose-built Memory Support Unit, ‘Maxwell Wing’.
Manage day-to-day kitchen and catering operations
Cooking delicious and nutritious meals for our residents
Lead and support kitchen staff
Plan and coordinate meals in accordance with residents’ preferences and dietary requirements
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality
Rostering and budget management
Assist with food preparation and meal service
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen ensuring appropriate infection prevention and control measures are maintained
Assist with dishwashing, cleaning and general kitchen duties
Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
Previous commercial kitchen or aged-care catering experience
Well presented, reliable and excellent customer service skills
Availability to work a variety of shifts
Current police clearance/ willingness to obtain
Current Annual Influenza vaccination
Ongoing commitment to your professional development through training opportunities
