The Opportunity

The role of the Plastics Team Leader and Technical Moulder is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the plastic moulding team to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality plastic moulded products.

The role will also serve as the hands-on technical expert to build the moulding capability of Resero, an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to lead, mentor, and share knowledge.

The role is based at our Minto site, reporting to the Production Manager and has direct reports including die setters and operators. 

Key Areas of Focus

• Technical moulding expert for plastics injection moulding
• Lead the plastics team and support growth and development of team.
• Coordinate and actively participate in production activities, including machine setup, tooling changes, running machines, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with planners to ensure production targets are met
• Collaborate with maintenance team conduct routine maintenance and support breakdowns.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. 

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in plastics injection moulding industry
• Able to inspire and motivate team members and foster a positive team culture.
• Commitment to producing high-quality products
• Adept at identifying problems and developing practical solutions collaboratively with the team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and providing feedback effectively.
• Dedicated to safety and maintaining high quality.
