Engineering Administrator (Part Time)

We’re on the lookout for a highly organised and detail-focused Part Time Engineering Administrator to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll help keep things running smoothly by managing BOMs, coordinating the ECR process, and supporting the rollout of new products into production.

This role would suit someone looking for a consistent, ongoing part-time position, with reliable availability during standard business hours and experience working in a similar engineering, manufacturing, administration or coordination role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create and manage accurate Bill of Materials in Pronto for manufactured appliance products.

• Monitor and maintain BOM integrity to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Own and coordinate the Engineering Change Process (ECR) - from submission to approval and task follow-up.

• Support key engineering admin functions, including SCRUM team coordination, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation, DFMEA tracking

• Assist with Pre-Production and Pilot Production activities for new product launches

• Help standardise and document internal procedures across the Engineering department.

• Comply with Zip’s Safety, Health and Environment policies and practices.

Skills & Experience We’re After:

• You're great with data and love digging into the details to spot patterns and solve problems.

• Super organised with a sharp eye for detail.

• Comfortable around technical stuff, especially anything to do with how products are put together.

• Experience with inventory control is a bonus.

• Either experienced with tools like MS Office, Monday.com, MS Access, and systems like Pronto or SAP or a quick learner who's comfortable picking them up fast.

• A clear communicator who works well with different teams across the business.
