About the role

We are seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager, based in Townsville to join our dynamic Queensland sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow customer relationships across your territory

• Work closely with customers to improve equipment reliability and reduce operating costs

• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and cold calling activities

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service delivery

• Travel throughout your sales territory to carry out sales responsibilities

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial sales role or technical sales role.

• OR a minimum of 3 years' experience (in a non-sales role) with mechanical seals, rotating equipment or mining.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

• Experience in mechanical seals, pumps, rotating equipment or mining would be highly regarded, but not essential

• A relationship-focused approach with the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Townsville region

• Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory

• Permanent residents and Australian citizens only, we are not looking to sponsor.
