NurseLink Healthcare – Support Worker Opportunity

Location: Fraser, ACT 2615

NurseLink Healthcare is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide ongoing Domestic Assistance and Social Support for a client in Fraser, ACT.

Service Details :

Domestic Assistance: 2 hours fortnightly commencing Monday, 24 August 2026

Social Support: 1.5 hours commencing Thursday, 27 August 2026

Additional Social Support: 3 hours commencing Thursday, 4 September 2026

Frequency: Ongoing

Duties Domestic Assistance:

• Vacuuming
• Cleaning the bathroom and toilet
• Mopping floors
• Dusting
• Changing bed linen when requested
• General household assistance as directed by the client

Duties Social Support and Shopping Assistance:

• Accompanying the client grocery shopping
• Assisting the client to locate and select items
• Reaching items from shelves and placing them in the trolley
• Assisting with storing groceries at home
• Following the client’s instructions and preferences
• Providing friendly companionship and social support

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Police Check
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Working rights in Australia
• Previous disability support experience is desirable
• Availability to work flexible hours
