About the role
About ThinkSpatial
ThinkSpatial is a progressive Surveying and Spatial Information company delivering high-quality surveying solutions across construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects.
Originally established in Victoria, ThinkSpatial has expanded into the Northern Territory and is continuing to grow its presence in Darwin and the greater region. Our team combines strong surveying fundamentals with innovative spatial technologies, including laser scanning, UAV (drone) surveying, GIS, and other advanced geospatial solutions, allowing us to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes for our clients.
We pride ourselves on being a team where quality work, technical capability, and strong relationships matter. Our experienced surveyors work collaboratively, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to deliver exceptional results while continuing to develop their own skills.
With a growing pipeline of exciting projects across the Northern Territory, ThinkSpatial offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking business where you can contribute to our growth, work on varied and challenging projects, and build a rewarding long-term career within the spatial industry.
About the Role
This is more than just another surveying role! It’s an opportunity to build your career while working on diverse and rewarding projects across a region experiencing continued growth and development.
We are seeking motivated and capable Surveyors to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering diverse and rewarding construction and engineering surveying projects across the Northern Territory. Our work includes feature and detail surveys, construction set-out, and as-built surveys across a variety of project types.
This role is ideally suited to surveyors who are confident working independently, take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability. We value individuals who are committed to continuous professional development and eager to expand their technical expertise.
Based in the Northern Territory, this opportunity is open to applicants across Australia. Relocation assistance available for the successful candidate. Applicants must currently reside in Australia and have full Australian working rights.
What We Offer
At ThinkSpatial, we believe that great people do their best work when they’re supported, challenged, and given the opportunity to grow. You’ll be joining a team that values quality, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture.
Here’s what you can expect:
A generous hourly rate, with paid overtime and Saturday penalty rates.
Company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone provided.
The opportunity to work on diverse and technically interesting construction and engineering surveying projects, with broad site exposure where no two days are the same.
Exposure to innovative spatial technologies, including laser scanning, UAV (drone) surveying, GIS, and other emerging surveying solutions.
Ongoing training and professional development to support your technical growth and long-term career progression.
The chance to work alongside a highly experienced, supportive, and down-to-earth team that values knowledge sharing and genuinely enjoys working together.
A positive workplace culture where initiative, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement are recognised and valued.
And we almost forgot to mention…
Friday lunches are on us! A small weekly perk that reflects the team culture we’re proud of!
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, civil, or engineering surveying.
The ability to work independently while taking ownership of your projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and pride in producing quality work.
Sound problem-solving skills, initiative, and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A genuine desire to continue developing your technical skills and build a long-term career in the spatial industry.
Applicants must currently reside in Australia and have full Australian working rights.
Ready to Join Us?
We’re actively recruiting and reviewing applications as they come in. If ThinkSpatial sounds like the right fit for you, don’t wait, we’d love to hear from you and start the conversation!
No recruitment agencies please, we’ve got this one covered.
