Key Responsibilities

Prepare, load and detonate explosives in accordance with safety regulations and blast designsConduct pre-blast inspections to ensure compliance with safety standardsCollaborate with drillers and supervisors to execute accurate blast patternsMaintain and secure explosives, ensuring proper storage and handlingComplete and maintain accurate blast reports and documentationMonitor environmental conditions to minimize impact from blasting activitiesEnsure the blast area is cleared and secured before detonation

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

Experience in drill and blast operationsCurrent Dangerous Goods Security CardCurrent Shotfirer LicenceKnowledge of explosives and blasting techniquesStrong communication skillsCurrent WA Drivers licence
