Trades Assistant

GB Industries are leading electrical contracts servicing port and mining clients throughout the Mackay and the Bowen Basin region. Due to an increase in site and project works we are currently recruiting for a locally based Trades Assistant for mine site Electrical Project roles. 

Required:

• QLD Drivers License (ideally MR or HR)

• Construction Card

• Working at Heights

• Experience working in a Mining, Port or Heavy Industrial environments

Desirable:

• Standard 11 / BMA Core

• HRWL Elevated Work Platform Qualification/License

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Operator Tickets (eg Skid Steer/Excavator)

Key Tasks

• Support Electrical Tradespeople in duties including removal of redundant cable, cable tray and disconnected infrastructure.

• Ticketed competency tasks on various project works as required
