We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSEQ Officer and Graduate Engineer to join a growing and highly respected construction and engineering business based in NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business delivering complex and large-scale projects, working closely with senior leadership and high-performing operational teams.

About the Role

We are currently seeking talented and motivated professionals to join our team across two key positions: HSEQ Officer and Graduate Engineer.

These are great opportunities for individuals looking to build their careers in a hands-on environment, working across manufacturing, project delivery, engineering, safety and quality. We are looking for people who are practical, motivated and keen to make a genuine contribution while developing their skills and experience.

A practical operational HSEQ role supporting both NSW and SA operations. Based on your requirements and our understanding of the business, the role is intended to be a visible, hands-on safety and quality resource working closely with operational teams across both manufacturing and project environments.

Summary of key responsibilities:

• Safety leadership and culture development.
• Audits, inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Quality assurance and quality system support.
• Contractor and subcontractor compliance.
• Training, inductions and competency management.
• Procore administration and HSEQ reporting.
• Environmental and legislative compliance support.
• Continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally within construction, heavy manufacturing, or a similar      industrial environment for HSEQ Officer
• Practical and proactive, with the ability to work closely with our operational teams
• Drive a strong safety culture across both states.

A hands-on graduate engineering role supporting project delivery, manufacturing operations and quality outcomes. The role is aimed at a technically capable graduate who is keen to learn, gain practical site and factory experience, and develop a strong understanding of engineering, quality and project delivery processes.

• Engineering and project support.
• Quality assurance and technical compliance.
• Project coordination and reporting.
• Procore administration and document control.
• Manufacturing and production support.
• Procurement and project planning support.
• Continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting major infrastructure and Tier 1 project requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
          
• Be technically strong, quality minded
• Keen to develop within a heavy manufacturing and infrastructure environment
• Hands-on, willing to learn the operational side of the business
• Excellent understanding of safety, compliance and project delivery processes
