Civil Engineering Draftsperson

About the role

The successful candidate will work closely with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, consultants and project stakeholders to prepare accurate civil engineering drawings, plans and technical documentation throughout various project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate civil engineering drawings, plans, design packages, and technical documentation using CAD and relevant engineering software
• Support Civil Engineers across project stages
• Interpret design information
• Update drawings
• Maintain document control
• Liaise with project stakeholders to resolve drafting requirements

About you

• Relevant work experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson (or equivalent)
• Relevant qualification of Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering, Engineering Drafting – Civil Design, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of civil drafting principles, design documentation and construction drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or 12d
• Experience with or exposure to stormwater modelling and drainage design software including DRAINS and MUSIC will be highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
