Welder

This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder with strong site experience who is comfortable working in challenging environments and carrying out hands on structural steel work.

About the role:

As a Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out structural steel welding and fabrication work across various sites around Perth. You will work alongside an experienced site team, ensuring all welding work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous site welding experience
• Structural steel welding experience
• Stick/MMA welding experience
• Gasless MIG/FCAW welding experience
• Ability to read and work from drawings where required
• Experience working in difficult access and challenging site conditions
• Ability to carry out welding work to a high standard
• General structural steel and fabrication experience
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and physically capable of undertaking site based work

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:

• Previous structural steel welding experience
• Proven Stick/MMA welding experience
• Proven gasless MIG/FCAW experience
• Current Driver's Licence
• Reliable transport and the ability to get yourself to various sites around Perth
• Relevant welding qualifications/tickets (Preferred)
• Construction/site experience
• Strong work ethic and positive, can do attitude
• Ability to work safely in challenging site conditions
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
