Sales Assistant

We're looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Taubmans Trade Centre in Capalaba and become part of a team that takes pride in building genuine relationships and delivering great customer experiences every day.

No paint experience? No problem!

If you've worked in retail, hospitality, trade supply, customer service or another hands-on environment and enjoy helping people, we'll teach you everything else.

• Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week)

• Monday to Friday roster between 6:30am and 4:30pm

• Occasional Saturday shifts between 7:00am and 11:30am

• Based at our Capalaba Trade Centre

• Full product and systems training provided

Every day looks a little different, but you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for every customer who walks through the door.

You'll:

• Welcome and assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable service

• Build relationships with trade and retail customers

• Tint and mix paint products to customer requirements

• Support colour matching and product recommendations

• Prepare customer orders for collection and delivery

• Assist with deliveries using the company vehicle when required

• Help maintain stock levels, store presentation and merchandising standards

• Support the Store Manager and wider team with day-to-day operations

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace

• Enjoy helping customers and building relationships

• Like staying active and working in a hands-on environment

• Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team

• Are eager to learn new skills and develop product knowledge

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Are comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day

• Hold a valid driver's licence

• Take pride in delivering great customer service

Experience in retail, customer service, hardware, trade supply, warehousing or a similar customer-facing environment will be highly regarded, but it's not essential.

Paint experience is not required.
