Mechanical Building Services NT is a Darwin-based air conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical services company working across commercial, industrial and premium mechanical sites throughout Darwin and the Northern Territory.

We provide service, maintenance, breakdown support, installations, upgrades and mechanical project works across a wide range of systems in Darwin city.

The Type of Work

This role is suited to technicians who enjoy variety.

Depending on your experience and strengths, you will be involved in service, maintenance, installation, replacement works, upgrades or larger commercial mechanical projects.

Our work includes a broad range of commercial HVAC and mechanical infrastructure, including:

• Chilled water systems

• Chillers of various types

• Air handling units

• Pumps and associated mechanical plant

• Packaged air conditioning units

• VRF / VRV systems

• Split systems

• Refrigeration & cool/ Freezer rooms

• BMS and controls

• Mechanical ventilation systems

• End-of-life plant replacements

• Commercial fit-outs and upgrade works

We work across a wide range of commercial and mechanical sites, giving the right person the opportunity to broaden their experience and develop beyond standard domestic or light commercial air conditioning work.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for reliable and motivated technicians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a growing local team.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification

• Current ARCtick licence

• Current Australian driver’s licence

• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, service, maintenance, installation or project work

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

• A professional attitude and strong attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and broaden your experience

Experience with larger commercial sites, chilled water plants, chillers, BMS, VRF / VRV,  or mechanical systems will be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right applicant.

Electricians looking to broaden their experience and complete their Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade are also strongly encouraged to reach out.
