AI AWS Bedrock Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing AWS consultancy partner, delivering agentic AI and cloud-native solutions for enterprise clients across Australia. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join their delivery team on a contract basis.

What you'll be doing:
You'll design and build production grade agentic AI systems on AWS, working across the full serverless stack to deliver scalable, event-driven architectures for enterprise clients.

Skills required:

• Serverless - Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions, including event-driven architectures, orchestration patterns, and integration design
• Amazon Bedrock - Knowledge Bases, AgentCore, and Foundation Models, including agentic architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, and model selection
• Strands -  Strands Agents SDK, including agent development patterns, tool integration, and orchestration
• Storage - Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon S3, including data modelling, access patterns, and lifecycle management

Nice to have:

• GitHub Actions - CI/CD pipeline design, workflow authoring, and integration with AWS deployment targets
• AWS CDK
