Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years.
Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

Your Career Starts Here
BRAMS is looking for a full-time Human Resources Trainee based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this is an earn-while-you-learn role. You'll be paid a full-time wage from day one while you study towards a nationally recognised qualification in human resources or business administration.
You'll provide administrative support across the whole employee journey including recruitment and onboarding, employee records, HR systems and compliance with supervision and support the whole way through and increasing responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
What You’ll Bring
You don't need HR experience or qualifications. What you need is Year 12 or equivalent (or work and life experience that shows you're ready), Word, Excel and Outlook skills, and the drive to see the training through. We welcome school leavers, people returning to the workforce, and anyone changing direction later in life. There's no wrong age to begin.
The following will be highly regarded:
You'll be reliable, organised and switched on to detail. You'll speak clearly and respectfully with people at every level, understand why confidentiality matters, and take feedback as something that helps you get better. A commitment to culturally safe practice is essential.
