As a Strata Client Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of strata clients by delivering expert insurance advice and an exceptional client experience. You’ll work closely with owners' corporations, strata managers, and insurers to design and maintain tailored insurance programs that protect clients’ assets and meet legislative requirements.

What will you be doing?
Client management & advisoryAct as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of strata clientsBuild strong, long-term relationships with owners corporations, strata managers, and key stakeholdersProvide specialist advice on strata insurance coverage, policy structures, risk exposures, and claims trendsConduct regular client reviews to ensure insurance programs remain fit for purpose and aligned to client objectives
Insurance placement & renewalsManage end-to-end renewal and placement processes, including market engagement, negotiation, and insurer submissionsPrepare and present clear, compliant renewal reports and insurance recommendationsEnsure accuracy of policy documentation, coverage analysis, and timely issuance of policiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with insurers to optimise coverage, pricing, and term
Risk, compliance & governanceEnsure all advice and documentation complies with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and professional standardsMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records in broking systemsIdentify opportunities for risk improvement and support clients with risk mitigation strategies
Collaboration & portfolio growthWork closely with internal teams across claims, technical, and operations to deliver a seamless client experienceIdentify opportunities to expand services, cross-sell solutions, and support portfolio growthContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide support to junior team members as required
You will need the following experience and qualifications:EssentialDemonstrated experience in strata insurance and/or commercial insurance brokingProven ability to lead, coach, and manage team membersStrong client relationship management and advisory capabilitySolid understanding of strata insurance requirements and legislationExperience managing renewals, placements, and insurer negotiationsHigh attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
DesirableTier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or willingness to obtain)Experience contributing to portfolio growth or retention strategiesBroader commercial broking exposure
