Imagine leading the team behind destination weddings in one of Australia's most spectacular locations. From intimate ceremonies overlooking the Whitsundays to larger celebrations across Hamilton Island's unique venues, our Weddings team brings together couples, venues, suppliers and island operations to create truly unforgettable occasions.
We're looking for an experienced Events Manager - Weddings with a strong background in wedding and events management to lead our team. This is a hands-on management role for someone who understands the detail, emotion and complexity behind exceptional weddings - and knows how to lead a team to deliver them seamlessly.

You'll lead the Weddings team and oversee the planning and delivery of weddings across Hamilton Island, ensuring couples receive exceptional service from the planning stages through to their wedding day.
You'll support and develop your team, oversee event planning and operational delivery, and ensure the many moving parts behind each wedding come together seamlessly. Working closely with couples, celebrants, stylists, suppliers and internal teams, you'll confidently manage competing priorities, resolve challenges and maintain exceptional standards across every celebration.
Strong management experience within weddings, events or a closely related hospitality environment
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering weddings and complex events
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop an events team
Exceptional organisation with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities
Strong client, supplier and stakeholder management skills
A calm, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail
Flexibility to work varied hours in line with wedding and event schedules
