About the Role
Are you organised, reliable and practical, with a strong focus on customer service? The City of Wanneroo is seeking an Internal Courier to join our Library Services team on a fixed-term basis.
This is a hands-on role that plays an important part in keeping City services running smoothly. You will provide a timely and reliable courier service across City locations, collecting, sorting and distributing a range of goods and materials, including resources, confidential documents, archive material and locked moneybags.
Working across different City locations, you will interact with employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. You will need to be approachable, responsive and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You’re someone who is reliable, organised and customer-focused, with a practical approach to getting things done. You’ll be comfortable working independently, moving between City locations and managing your workload throughout the day. You can prioritise competing tasks, follow established processes and maintain accuracy even when priorities change.
You’ll also bring good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders across the organisation.
Previous courier experience is desirable, but we’re also interested in people who can demonstrate transferable skills, particularly experience in customer service, logistics, administration, facilities, library services or other operational environments.
