Bell Captain at Hyatt Centric Melbourne

As Bell Captain, you will lead our Bell Desk team and create exceptional first and last impressions for every guest. You'll combine operational leadership with genuine hospitality, ensuring every arrival and departure is seamless while inspiring your team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

As an ambassador for Hyatt Centric and our values, you'll play an integral role in delivering personalised service and supporting the daily operations of the Front Office team.

Some of the responsibilities include:

·         Lead, coach and develop the Bell Desk team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.

·         Personally welcome and farewell guests, creating memorable first and last impressions.

·         Oversee the daily operation of the Bell Desk, ensuring guest requests are prioritised and completed promptly.

·         Coordinate luggage services, valet operations and guest requests.

·         Collaborate with the Front Desk, Concierge and other hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.

·         Champion local Melbourne knowledge by inspiring your team to share personalised recommendations and create authentic guest experiences.

·         Build and maintain relationships with local partners to continually enhance our concierge and Bell services.

·         Support the Front Office leadership team with daily operations, service recovery and emergency response when required. 

About you:

• Previous experience in a Bell Desk, Concierge or Front Office role, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Full Australian driver's licence with the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (International driver's licence may be considered).
• Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest service.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Knowledge of Melbourne and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
