Casual Educator – Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our friendly Out of School Hours Care team.

Burraneer Activity Centre Incorporated is a community-run OSHC service located on the grounds of Burraneer Bay Public School. We provide a relaxed, welcoming environment where children can connect, play and unwind before and after school.

We are looking for reliable educators who enjoy building genuine relationships with children and being part of a supportive team environment.

This casual role involves supporting children across before school care and after school care sessions.

Shifts Monday to Friday with varying hours between:

• Before School Care: 6:45am – 9:15am

• After School Care: 2:45pm – 6:15pm

Additional shifts may become available to cover leave, programming, administration support and operational needs.

• Are warm, engaging and reliable

• Enjoy working with school aged children

• Can work collaboratively within a team

• Support children’s wellbeing, play and interests

• Have a positive and professional attitude

• Working With Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)

• Child Protection training

• Certificate III, Diploma or currently studying Outside of School Hours Care / Early Childhood Education, Teaching or related field highly regarded
