We’re currently seeking a qualified Consulting Arborist to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to build a long-term career backed by training, mentorship, and access to national projects that make a difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
Completing on-ground tree assessments and hazard evaluations
Preparing clear, high-quality written reports using digital tools
Working across council, infrastructure, and private sector projects
Using GIS, field-based data capture and diagnostic equipment
Contributing to applied research and tree health programs with our partners at Arbor Scientific
Developing your skills through ongoing training and mentoring

What We’re Looking For
Essential
Certificate III in Arboriculture
Solid species ID and tree assessment skills
Clear communication and report-writing ability
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Driver’s licence
Desirable
Certificate V in Arboriculture
Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control
QTRA or TRAQ certification
GIS mapping experience (e.g. Esri)
Interest in tree health science and field trials
