Work type:  Full time (38hrs per week). Part time applicants and subcontractors will also be considered.

We’re currently seeking a qualified Consulting Arborist to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to build a long-term career backed by training, mentorship, and access to national projects that make a difference.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing on-ground tree assessments and hazard evaluations

• Preparing clear, high-quality written reports using digital tools

• Working across council, infrastructure, and private sector projects

• Using GIS, field-based data capture and diagnostic equipment

• Contributing to applied research and tree health programs with our partners at Arbor Scientific

• Developing your skills through ongoing training and mentoring

​What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Certificate III in Arboriculture

• Solid species ID and tree assessment skills

• Clear communication and report-writing ability

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

• Driver’s licence

Desirable

• Certificate V in Arboriculture

• Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control

• QTRA or TRAQ certification

• GIS mapping experience (e.g. Esri)

• Interest in tree health science and field trials
