We are currently seeking an experienced Drainer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong civil construction experience who takes pride in delivering quality work and maintaining high safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine drainage layouts.
Excavate trenches and prepare sites for drainage installation.
Install and connect stormwater pipes, culverts, pits, and associated drainage infrastructure.
Repair and maintain underground drainage systems, including replacing damaged pipes and fittings.
Backfill and compact excavations following installation.
Test completed drainage systems to ensure they meet project specifications and operate effectively.
Work in accordance with all workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship while working collaboratively within a team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' full-time experience (or equivalent) in drainage or civil construction.
Proven ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
Demonstrated experience installing underground stormwater and drainage systems.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competitive salary of $85,000 – $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
